Raised on the island of Trinidad & Tobago, Lovern lived there for 15 years with her parents and 4 siblings. After migrating to the United States, she finished high school and originally attended Suffolk University to study Marketing while working at Boston Financial & Equity Corporation.

Following her daughter's birth Lovern decided to switch gears and attended The New England Institute of Art where she graduated with a degree in Television/Broadcasting.

Her 1st job in the industry was at WFXT Fox 25 in the Traffic Department where she was responsible for placing the day’s national commercials in between programming. She also enjoyed freelancing in the station’s newsroom on her free time.

After being with the station for 4 years, the industry suffered some losses due to the economic climate, Lovern sought to re-invent her career and re-joined Boston Financial & Equity Corporation where she currently is a National Account Executive in the leasing industry. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending weekly church services, volunteering
and trying new things.
